How to register with Play Golf North West
To register with Play Golf North West click on the ‘BECOME A MEMBER’ button in the left hand menu, which will take you through to the registration page. Once you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions you must enter a username and your email address. An email will immediately be sent to your nominated address containing confirmation of your registration and a temporary password to log into the website.
When you return to the website please click on the ‘LOG IN’ button on the right hand side, and enter your username and temporary password. We advise immediately changing your password to something unique, and more memorable. You can now access the restricted areas of the website.
Forgotten your Password
If you have forgotten your password click on the ‘BECOME A MEMBER’ button in the left hand menu, which will take you through to the registration page. The third tab at the top of the page is ‘Request new password’. Click on this link and the website will require you to insert the email address that you registered with. A temporary password will be sent to that email address immediately. Similar to the registration process we advise immediately changing your password to something unique, and more memorable.
How to post in the Forum
You must be logged in to add content to the website, which includes adding topics to the forum, or responding to other user’s topics. Once logged in there are two methods of adding content to the Forum page, either from the ‘FORUM’ button on the left hand menu, or from the user menu, underneath the main menu. Click the ‘Create content link’, and choose ‘Forum topic’, this will take you to the Forum page and allow you add content.
How to post a Classified Advert
You must be logged in to add content to the website, which includes adding adverts to the Classifieds, or responding to other user’s adverts. Once logged in there is only one method of adding content to the Classifieds page, which is from the user menu, underneath the main menu. Click the ‘Create content link’, and choose ‘Classified Ads’, this will take you to the ‘Submit Classified Ad’ page and allows you add content.
How to respond to a Classified Advert
If you have seen an advert in the Classifieds that you are interested in, you can send the poster a private message by clicking the link underneath the advert.
